Profile
The professional path of Evgenia Seregina has been associated with Arzinger for more than 15 years.
Evgenia has conducted HR audits and created document management from scratch for 50 companies, adapted foreign policies on bonus accrual and application of stock options, RSU and other financial instruments for more than 40 companies. She regularly helps clients to prevent and resolve conflict situations between representatives of company management, as well as disputes with employees.
Based on customer requests Evgenia conducts anti-corruption trainings, explains labor law «on fingers» and helps with the development of necessary polices, guidelines and recommendations.
Evgenia Seregina is successfully practiced the banking and financial law, meeting the requirements and standards of European, Chinese and local banks and borrowers. Evgenia is engaged in drafting and reviewing banking and finance contracts, including subjecting to foreign law. Evgenia can also assist with structuring complex multi-jurisdictional project finance models.
Evgenia is also focused on women’s business initiatives, she is one of the key architects of the recommendations for women in small and medium-sized business (the project was launched with the support of IFC and the British Embassy in Belarus).

Amendments to the Law on External Labor Migration
On July 1, 2023, the Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 233 enters into force, amending the Law “On External Labor Migration”. The Law introduces significant changes to regulation of labor activity for both immigrants and emigrants, amends powers of the President and certain state bodies.

The Authorized Body for Protection of Data Subjects’ Rights has been Established
The Presidential Edict No. 422 dated 28 October 2021 complemented the existing regulation on personal data protection and determined the authorized body for protection of data subjects’ rights. The National Center for Personal Data Protection (“the Center”) became such a body. Alongside that, the new requirements for trainings of employees were introduced together with the monitoring procedure of personal data legislation’s execution.
Review of Amendments to the Tax Code of Belarus
On September 28, 2021, a draft Law “On Amendments to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus” was published on the website of the Ministry of Finance. The act is mostly devoted to the Tax Code of the Republic of Belarus amendments, which can be adopted at the ongoing autumn session of the Parliament.

Updated Measures of Economy Support
On January 8, 2021, amendments to the Presidential Edict of April 24, 2020 No. 143 "On Economy Support" (hereinafter - the Edict) came into force. The Edict does not provide for a decisive expansion of the list of measures, but extends validity period of some benefits, such as those for lessees and loan recipients who provide household services or activities that are most affected by a difficult epidemiological situation. New Visa Regulations
The Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of June 24, 2020 No. 364 came into force on July 1, 2020, together with the new edition of the Visa Regulations of the Republic of Belarus.
