The Draft Law on Self-Regulated Organizations: Is It the Alternative to the State Regulation?
The draft law “On Self-Regulated Organizations” was brought to public discussion. It is planned that this law will be brought to the parliament at the end of 2019 and will be adopted in 2020.
What is Dumping? How can Dumping be Revealed and why do Manufacturers Use it?
In simple words, dumping is a situation when manufacturers or traders export goods at prices which are lower than in their own internal market. EAEU legislation, as well as legal acts of majority of foreign states, use two main definitions: normal cost and an export price of goods. Normal cost of goods is calculated based on prices in the internal market of the exporting country in the normal course of trade. Export price is the actual price of goods in the market of the EAEU or a state conducting an antidumping investigation.
On October 23, 2019, the Edict No. 394 “On Provision and Procurement of Loans” was signed. The document regulates microfinance activities.
The Edict approves the List of amendments and alterations to the edicts of the President of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the Regulation on Microfinance Activities. Main innovations include a procedure for creating non-profit microfinance organizations in the form of a consumer cooperative and their business.
Forthcoming Amendments in the Currency Legislation: the Draft of the New Edition of the Law “On Currency Regulation and Currency control”
The draft of the new edition of the Law «On Currency Regulation and Currency Control» is under review of the Parliament. The new edition of the Law aims to stimulate non-cash payments. The draft also added new definitions: repatriation, currency agreement etc. The list of permitted currency operations has been changed.
