On 21 May 2023 the Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus dated 03.05.2023 No. 69 ”On Distance Retail of Medicines“ came into force. The instruction approved by the document (“Instruction No. 69”) lifts the previously existing ban on online trade of pharmaceuticals and sets forth requirements for sellers of such goods as well as for delivery services.

Changes in Technical and Cryptographic Protection of Information

Tax Code 2025: main changes
On December 20, 2024, the Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 47-Z dd. 13.12.2024 “On Amendments to Laws”was published, amending the Tax Code of the Republic of Belarus. Most of the amendments will enter into force on January 1, 2025. The Tax Code of the Republic of Belarus, as amended in 2025 (Tax Code 2025), cancels a number of preferential tax rates, as well as changes the rates for various types of income, introduces new obligations for marketplaces, and, among other things, expands the list of services, the place of sale of which for VAT purposes is determined at the location of the buyer.
